Coorg aptly known as Scotland of India. I set out yet again to Coorg in May 2010 for a 3 day trip. The lazy me took so much time to update my blog.. Promise to be more proactive in updating my blogs....
Coorg is about 250km drive from Bangalore.. Since I love driving I enjoyed myself thoroughly and thanks to the good roads.
On the way to Coorg
This time around instead of staying in a hotel we booked ourselves a home stay called "forest- flower". This was situated in a plantation and hence surrounded by complete greenery..

We went to Abbey falls which is very scenic. But it is restricted to get into the water and hence fenced all over.

After visiting the falls we went to a lesser known place called "Raja seat". This is a very scenic place and when we went there was a flower show happening which added to the beauty
We also went to Dubare Elephant camp but it was super crowded so we didn't spend too much time hence we decided to move on to next destination. But spending time on camp is worth it since you can see the elephants bathing and if you get lucky you can feed them too.
We headed to Kushalnagar to visit the monastery called Namdroling. The structure is amazingly beautiful.
Here ended our beautiful trip.
